Yiwen Pei, PhD profile page

Yiwen Pei, PhD, is a senior scientist at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), where she leads research in chemical metrology for advanced polymer technologies, with a focus on sustainable material and manufacturing. Pei has over 15 years of multidisciplinary experience in designing, synthesizing and characterizing advanced polymeric (nano)materials. Pei is a principal investigator on major European projects and a contributor to numerous national and international collaborations. She was a recipient of the NPL Explorers' Award in 2019. Pei also serves as a UK expert on ISO and CEN nanotechnology committees, co-leads the nanomedicine focus group in the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences and has authored 40+ peer-reviewed publications.
